DM-VESUVIUS

This is my first level and I'm still proud of it. The outside ring is mostly static meshes from Unreal, the inside of the volcano is almost all original geometry. There are some nifty ideas here (I think they're nifty anyway). If you jump into the volcano pit, the vent lifts you out onto the platforms. A lever at the top opens the volcano venting hatch so you can snipe. Download it if you like. It's Unreal 2003. If I get a chance to do more in Unreal, I'd really like to learn the intricacies of what makes a level fun.

MINOR ARENA - BLUE

This is an arena map for Magic the Gathering "Battlegrounds" by Secret Level . This is a mid run map, so imagine shadows, something other than a red sea and less saturation.


AKILA DEMO LEVEL

This is the Akila level. It's an arena. Our gameplay concept was based on fighting many enemies (like 50). I created the open environment to support that gameplay. I was responsible for model, texture, materials, particles, lighting, scripting, matinee, xEmitter's for dynamic objects, etc. The character models were done by one of our character artists. You can download an Unreal 2k4 Version of the map in the Akila section of the portfolio. There are also additional (larger) screenshots.


MODULAR COMPONENTS
This isn't a level, but I think it's a pretty cool hallway system. Each piece snaps to a 512 grid.

Z-BRUSH MODEL
This isn't a level but I wanted to throw it up here. This is a secret concept image by Gia Luc made for an undisclosed project. I've done some Z-Brush work so I wanted to post it.
